The outdoor retailer is partnering with Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, a nonprofit dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities.

“In the past year, the New York chapter of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing has added more than 30 disabled veterans to their roster,” stated Doug Lopez, Orvis Fifth Avenue retail manager. “This donation and matching funds will go to support day and overnight trips, enabling more veterans to get out on the West Branch of the Delaware, for example, as well as other nearby waters.”
